Over the weekend my friends and I had the perfect Hartford evening; out for a delicious meal at Ichiro, watching the fireworks light up the Hartford skyline from Charter Oak Landing, and wandering/dancing around the downtown area late into the night. I think the reality of moving might be starting to sink in. At this point my excitement outweighs the prospect of saying good bye. It is bittersweet to know that these amazing people I have spent a year laughing, crying, and adventuring with will scatter across the country in just a few short weeks.
That being said, I wanted to share this song by A B & the Sea. To me, it epitomizes the beauty of summer, the excitement that these months hold and the adventures that you have with people that you will soon part with. Enjoy :)
